Restaurants

The Dorchester offers a variety of dining experiences. The Grill, China Tang, Alain Ducasse's, one of the UK's four 3-Michelin-starred restaurants, and The Promenade, serving its world famous Afternoon tea, a tradition which has taken place at the hotel since its opening in 1931. 
The Grill 
First established in 1931, The Grill at The Dorchester quickly gained a reputation as the place to be for the finest grill food in London. Delicious dishes range from grill favorites alongside the restaurant’s signature blue lobster chowder and an extensive sweet soufflé menu – the first of its kind in London. 
The Promenade 
The heart of the hotel, The Promenade is open all day for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and light suppers. The ideal place to enjoy The Dorchester’s world famous traditional afternoon tea, which has been voted the best in London for a record of three times by the British Tea Council. The Promenade is perfect for informal dining or enjoying drinks at the stunning oval leather bar at the end of the room.
China Tang 
With an atmosphere inspired by the bustling Shanghai of the 1920s, China Tang is considered one of London’s hottest restaurants. Indulge in authentic Cantonese food and all-day dim sum accompanied by a classic cocktail menu in the bar. 
Alain Ducasse 
Three Michelin-starred restaurant Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester offers contemporary French cuisine in elegant surroundings. Executive chef Jocelyn Herland interprets Ducasse’s cuisine by championing seasonal produce.
The Bar 
Designed by the acclaimed Thierry Despont, The Bar at The Dorchester offers a list of both classic and contemporary cocktails, served in an opulent, glamorous interior that has become one of the places in London to see and be seen.
